Dear Margot started as a creative outlet while I was on maternity leave with Margot. I grew up around sewing machines, my mum was a seamstress, and often dressed my sister and I in matching handmade outfits. When the idea to start making clothes for Margot first came to me, my mum there to help me with the very first pair of bloomers I made.

What started with a simple pair of bloomers, quickly grew to tops, skirts and dresses. Soon enough Margot’s wardrobe was full of handmade pieces just like mine was as a child.

Having worked as a buyer in the fashion industry for many years prior to becoming a mum, I am acutely aware of the impact our industry has on our planet. Dear Margot is my way, of continuing to do what I love, by creating ranges for customers to enjoy while not adding to the problem.
