Dear Margot started as a creative outlet while I was on maternity leave with Margot. I grew up around sewing machines, my mum was a seamstress, and often dressed my sister and I in matching handmade outfits. When the idea to start making clothes for Margot first came to me, it was fitting to have my mum there to help me with the very first pair of bloomers I made.

What started with a simple pair of bloomers, quickly grew to tops, skirts and dresses. Soon enough Margot’s wardrobe was full of handmade pieces just like mine was as a child.

Having worked as a buyer in the fashion industry for many years prior to becoming a mum, I am acutely aware of the impact our industry has on our planet. Dear Margot is my way, of continuing to do what I love, by creating beautiful pieces for your minis to wear and love then pass on, while not adding to the problem.
